BRAD SNOW
Growing up in the quiet, conservative city of Kaysville, Utah, I spent my days caught between two worlds: the structure of competitive sports and the raw, unfiltered energy of visual art. For as long as I can remember, I had a pencil in my hand, trying to capture the things that moved me before I even had the words for them.
As I got older, that creative spark found its flame in the underground. Skateboarding culture, the loud defiance of punk rock, and the emotional weight of emo music became the soundtrack to my life and the blueprint for my aesthetic. These subcultures taught me that art isn't just something you look at—it’s something you live.
Now, after more than 10 years of tattooing here in Salt Lake City, I translate that lifelong obsession into skin. My work is a blend of the old-school grit I grew up admiring and the refined detail of modern art. Whether I’m leaning into the bold, timeless power of Traditional and Neotraditional styles or the storytelling depth of Illustrative pieces, my goal is to create tattoos that feel as personal and permanent as the music and culture that shaped me.
